Glycolic Peel
The Glycolic Acid Peel is a form of gentle Medical peel which slowly resurfaces the skin and clears away acne-causing oil and toxins. Several sessions gradually increase the natural beauty and glow of your skin.

The process takes about 15 or 20 minutes and can be repeated as often as twice a week. The Peels can range from gentle to strong depending on the amount of layers applied and your skin type.

There may be some mild stinging during the treatment, and over the next few days, peeling should occur.

Salicylic Acid Peel
Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid and is a more vigorous peel than the glycolic peel. This peel is recommended for blemished, thick or oily skin or skin that is hyperpigmented. The procedure should take approximately 20 minutes. There is little or no downtime. Salicylic Peel is gentle enough to use every two to four weeks over a two to three month period for maximum benefits. Ask your skin care professional when to schedule your next peel.

Jessner's Peel
A Jessner's Peel is a combination of different peeling agents and produces the most dramatic effects. This peel is ideal aging or sun damaged skin but is also effective on normal or oily skin.

Power Peel
This process combines Microdermabrasion with a glycolic or salicylic peel to improve skin texture. Power Peels are effective for the treatment of deeper lines and wrinkles, sun damage, uneven skin tones, superficial scars, acne and acne scarring.
A series of treatments is recommended at the discretion of your skincare professional. Your skin's overall health and appearance is dramatically improved.

Contraindications for Medical Peels:
Clients that have used Accutane, are pregnant, have open wounds, herpes outbreaks, fresh sunburn, recently waxed skin or have had recent plastic surgery are not recommended to undergo these treatments.

Instructions before treatment:
Refrain from the use of Retin-A products and other exfoliants for at least one week prior to treatment. No waxing for at least two weeks prior to peel.

Instructions after treatment:

You may be more sensitive to the sun, so limit sun exposure during treatment and for at least one week afterwards. Use sun protection for the face of at least SPF 30 or higher.

Avoid strenuous exercise for at least two or three days, as the perspiration may irritate the skin. When washing your face, do not scrub. Use a gentle cleanser. We recommend wearing mineral makeup (Jane Iredale) after the treatment for skin protection. Avoid wearing foundation containing ingredients that are greasy, fragranced, and irritating.

Do not have any other facial treatments for at least one week after your peel. Wait ten days before having any injectable treatments. You may resume regular use of Retin-A, alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) products, or bleaching creams after three days.
